Pelé's Legacy Lives On: Remembering the Greatest Soccer Player of All Time

Brazilian soccer legend Pelé has died at the age of 81. Pelé was admitted to a hospital in São Paulo in November for a respiratory infection and complications related to colon cancer. He died on Thursday from multiple organ failure due to the progression of colon cancer. Pelé played in four World Cups and is the only player in history to win three. Tributes have been pouring in for the soccer legend from around the world, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappé among those paying their respects. A public wake for Pelé will be held on Monday at the Urbano Caldeira stadium in Brazil's São Paulo state, after which a funeral procession will carry his coffin through the streets of the city of Santos before arriving at the Memorial Necrópole Ecumênica cemetery, where a private funeral will be held for family members.
